Project Glimmen
The living room of this house felt outdated — furniture from a different chapter in life, and overwhelmed by the options and thus no actions taken. The starting point? The resident's personal story: childhood memories of horse riding and the warmth of travels through Africa. These inspired the color palette, atmosphere and layout. The result is warm, light and truly her own. Currently being executed.
Project Oud-Zuid
A family home for a couple with two children — the living room lacked atmosphere and cohesion. The starting point? Travels through Europe with his brother, and the feeling of beautiful hotel lobbies along the way. That feeling became the foundation: warm, luxurious and effortlessly calm. A wow effect without excess. The result? The family is extremely happ.y
Project Mettmenstetten
A family home where one living room had become a storage space — full of beautiful objects, but too many to see their worth. Together we made a systematic edit, keeping only the truly cherished pieces. Inspired by their love for nature and unique objects, the result is warm, layered and full of character. The client loved the practical design plan.
Project Groningen
A complete home design for a couple — living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. They had no idea where to begin and no sense of their own style. Through conversation, a love for Bali emerged and became the creative starting point. The design is warm, organic and layered — with a practical heart: an open connection between kitchen and living room, perfect for gathering with family. The result is a home that finally feels like them.

Project Amsterdam
A rental apartment — so a full kitchen renovation was off the table. The challenge: creating warmth and personality within those limits. This family had a love for personal objects and a desire for a calm, neutral yet warm atmosphere. These became the foundation for a kitchen design that is quiet, cohesive and entirely their own. Even without changing the bones of the space, the right decoration made all the difference — finally giving it a feel that is truly theirs.

Hi, I'm Miek.
There's a moment I look for in every project. It's when you start talking about a memory and your eyes light up. You relax. Something opens.
That moment tells me more than any moodboard ever could. Because the things that make you light up — a texture, a scent, a place you once felt completely at ease — those are the things your home should be built around.
I design interiors by finding that feeling first. Then I translate it into materials, objects and spaces — ideally sourced from craftspeople who put the same care into their work as I put into understanding yours.
